Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for generating sales of new vehicles to prospective purchasers, maximizing dealership profitability and maintaining an exceptional standard of customer care.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Initiating and maintaining relationships with customers through outbound sales activities

Specific skills required

  • Prior automotive sales experience preferred but not required, we are willing to train and develop the right person

As a lot porter and detailer, you will be involved with all our inventory and sales processes. No experience is required and we will train you for this position. As a company that prefers to promote from within, this position generally opens up as promotions occur into both sales and service roles.

Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Parks vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Manager to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers
  • Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations
  • Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles
  • Drives vehicles to other dealerships for dealer trades or to other vendors as requested
  • May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles
  • Aid with maintaining a clean and organized department. (Sales lot, wash area and property grounds)
  • Maintain and clean the appearance of general facilities
  • Detail all cars, both new and used
  • Wash cars and make sure they are cleaner when the customer left them at the dealership
  • Handles requests courteously and quickly
  • Greet outside customers quickly and in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Assists Lot Supervisor in maintaining condition of parking lots and in an orderly manner. Assist Lot Supervisor with checking in cars delivered from trucking companies
  • Demonstration vehicles will be kept cleaned and fueled
  • Prepare sold vehicles for delivery by detailing and fueling vehicle for customer
  • Assist in ensuring the safe and proper maintenance and use of physical resources: exterior display and parking, showroom area, display systems and arrange display vehicles on showroom and on lots as directed by management
  • Company vehicles CAN NOT are used for any personal errands or deliveries
  • No overtime is to be worked without Managers prior approval

The finance manager is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are properly contracted, building relationships with banks and lenders, and providing income for the dealership through the sale of additional products. We require at least 2 years of automotive sales and/or finance experience for consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Sell financing to customers
  • Assist Client Advisors in all areas of financing, particularly, in keeping them advised of the status of contracts
  • Support Client Advisors by providing them with instructional and skill building in areas of financing so they may properly qualify customers
  • Review contracts for possible errors, ensuring that all paperwork is properly submitted to Financial Services and that contract approval is received as expeditiously as possible
  • Report the approval status of client contracts to the respective Client Advisors
  • Work with marginal credit cases, as well as pre-owned leasing and business leasing customer, making every effort to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Explain the financing package to the customer
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with as many finance sources as necessary
  • Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals
  • Set up and maintain an adequate program, which will ensure 100% turnover ratio to the Financial Service Department
  • Work with Sales Mangers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale
  • Attend and participate at managers’ meetings
  • Maintain a Daily Operating Control
  • Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc.
  • Handle all rate quotations
  • Establish and meet monthly objectives
  • Enforce proper cash reporting rules and regulations as required by law

As a service detailer, you will be involved with all vehicle washes and customer details at our service department and body shop.

Qualifications for Position:

  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Manual dexterity
  • Work effectively with employees and customers

  • Excellent vision

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with service advisors and service manager
  • Wash and clean exterior and interior of vehicles according to level of detail sold
  • Maintain safety of vehicles finish while in their care
  • Using a “3-step method” clean and prepare exterior of vehicle for waxing
  • Apply special cleaners to engine areas if needed, using precautions of electrical and mechanical components
  • Apply special cleaners and chemicals to interior components for cleaning while protecting same components
  • Maintain safe, neat, and clean work areas. Make sure the physical environment is pleasing to the customers and the employees
  • Maintain supplies for detail area
  • Assist car wash as needed and when time allows

Working Conditions:
Detailers will be exposed to cleaning chemicals, noise, dust, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. He or she will work in extreme weather, in very wet conditions. He or she will be standing for six – eight hours per shift and will be using expensive and possibly dangerous equipment during detail processes. He or she will drive company and customer-owned vehicles. He or she will be required to lift loads of up to 50 pounds from time to time.
