A New Collaborative Approach

What happens when you approach Taylormade, True Links Wear, and Linksoul to do a video shoot?

Well, you get Knockaround wanting to jump in the mix too!

And that’s exactly what happened. When the new 2022 BMW X3M dropped, we knew we wanted to do something different to showcase the SAV. The BMW X3 is our go-to vehicle for everyone shopping for an SUV, from their first car to their dream car, so it only made sense to elevate the X3M in this way.

We put in a call to Taylormade, told them the story, and they committed. From there they supplied us with two new sets of Sim2Max Irons and Drivers, complete with a brand new bag. You can’t even get these right now, they’re in such high demand. From there, we called True Links Wear and shared what we’re doing with Taylormade, so they had to be in. They sent us a few samples to use for the shoot, and we were off. Then we called Linksoul in Oceanside, and they bit; we rounded out the shoot so perfectly, you would think this is what we do as a dealer.

Now we have the best of everything: 

• The best clubs in golf, thanks to Taylormade.
• The most comfortable footwear for the links, thanks to True Links Wear.
• The most stylish apparel for our talent, thanks to Linksoul.

After a quick call with Dave, Knockaround sent us four pairs of sunglasses, and we were dialed down.

What does this collaborative approach mean?

Remember, this is all about showcasing the new 2022 BMW X3M. So when you take the SAV, drop in a quality set of clubs, comfy footwear, and crazy fresh clothing, you get a video shoot that was made for one another. The X3M isn’t your normal SUV and it isn’t your normal X3; it’s a completely different car, a better car. It’s a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve 248-hp engine in the X3 Core Model, or a 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine that’s built for extreme performance – especially with the available Competition Package, which increases output to 503 hp. And while power isn’t the only thing that separates the two, it certainly is the most notable component.

As we showcased the car, it only felt right to showcase the best of everything we could think of. That’s why Taylormade, True Links Wear, and Linksoul jumped on board. BMW is a premium brand for people who expect excellence. Our collaborators feel the same way about their product. But it’s also about doing something so much more. It’s about venturing out into the world as a collaborator, making your products more accessible to a wider audience.
