The Used Car Market is Insane
Buying a used car or SAV from BMW of Escondido will save you time and money compared to other luxury auto dealerships.
Due to the pandemic, car manufacturers had to pause or completely shut down for months. Due to this delay in production, new cars arriving on the lot became few and far between. There were some months where we barely received any new models for either BMW or MINI, and what we did receive, almost immediately was sold.
Some dealerships took advantage of this and price gouged their customers.
People need cars. We need it to commute to work, take the kids to school and club activities, and recreation. It’s not a matter of wanting a vehicle; we need one. We knew this would hit clients in the pocket, and we weren’t wrong.
We’ve seen clients who have shopped at other dealerships, all to find out that the dealership increased prices in excess of sticker. While there is a certain measure of supply and demand here, we’re talking thousands marked up.
We won’t hurt our customers…
… and we shouldn’t have to say it. We are here to serve our community of North County, not just to make a quick buck. What good is it if we make a few thousand dollars extra off a new car when we hurt our neighborhood? It’s bad for morale, bad for the city, and bad for business. And while others are good with that, we have a higher standard of service.
The Price You See is the Price You Pay
We won’t upsell you on something you don’t need. We won’t take advantage of your current context and need for a vehicle. And we certainly won’t stiff you with a ten thousand dollar markup on any of our vehicles; it’s just not who we are.
What we will do is share with you what we have, get you into it at the best possible price, discuss with our financial team the proper payment so you can sleep comfortably, and make certain you drive off the lot with a smile on your face.
So while the used car market is insane, we aren’t.
And even though our inventory is decreasing daily, we have used and certified pre-owned vehicles ready for you.
