What is Access by BMW?

As a bookworm, I spend a lot of time reading the ideas of forward-thinking authors. One of the best books I’ve come across so far this year is Subscribed by Tien Tzuo, which simultaneously raised and answered some questions. Specifically, what will the automobile industry be like in 5, 10, or even 20 years?

To answer what the subscription model might look like someday, car manufacturers are coming up with their own subscription platforms. Since we are obvious fans of BMW , we were stoked when BMW announced Access By BMW which currently has 3 tiers: Icon, Legend, and BMW M. You can pick your level or switch as your needs change, and an insurance policy, personal concierge, roadside assistance, maintenance, and full detail washes are included. We’ve been told that locations are still limited, but it might expand to the San Diego area someday in the near future.
