Let’s be real for a moment: the BMW 5 Series is a dealer favorite here at BMW of Escondido. It’s size, space, refinement, and pure power is always a go-to for the family on the move. While the BMW 3 Series is a fan favorite and everyone loves the large and in charge BMW X7, the 5 Series is more than a classic; it’s THE standard.

Sure, we last discussed the 3 Series in the same breath as the Toyota Camry, and sure, some think of the Hyundai Genesis G80 when they think of the 5 Series, but when it comes down to it, the closest competitor is realistically the Audi A5. Even this is an unfair comparison, as the BMW 5 Series surges with a better price point, better reliability (even beating out Lexus), more space and optional features, safety features, power; let’s stop right there, because the BMW 5 Series is better in every way than the Audi A5, and really, it’s not close. 

The six-cylinder engine is smooth and strong and a great match for the big luxury car. There are a few packages or optional add-ons to consider seriously.
